Legislation introduced in New Jersey last week would reduce the statute of limitations to two years from six years in workers’ compensation medical fee disputes. Senate Bill 3905, by Sen. Gordon M. Johnson, D-Bergen, would add statutory language requiring providers to file a dispute over payments with the Division of Workers’ Compensation no later than two years after receiving a partial payment or notice of denial of payment.
