Oregon's Medical Advisory Committee will discuss hernia impairment rating standards and subcommittee reports on artificial discs and spinal cord stimulators during a March 11 meeting in Wilsonville.
Committee members are slated to discuss whether the requirement that a hernia be the result of a permanent and palpable defect to qualify for an impairment rating is too stringent of a standard.
Members will also be updated about ongoing reviews of lumbar and cervical discs, as well as spinal cord stimulators.
