Gov. Says Pinnacol Wants to Provide Coverage in Other States

Part of the goal in restructuring Pinnacol Assurance is to allow the carrier to provide workers' compensation coverage in other states, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper told the editorial board of the Pueblo Chieftain on Tuesday.Pinnacol's board of directors on Nov. 3 sent the governor a restructuring proposal that would allow it to convert to a mutual carrier owned by policyholders.
