A California lawmaker is proposing that the Division of Workers' Compensation create templates for medical-legal communications and reports.
Assemblymember Greg Wallis, R-Bermuda Dunes, on Monday amended AB 1293 — essentially introducing it since it was filed in February as a "spot bill" proposing no actual statutory change — to require a template for parties to use when communicating with qualified medical evaluators and for QMEs to report their findings.
