The New York Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of the owner of a medical billing company who is accused of stealing more than $1 million from doctors who treated injured workers.
Amrish Patel, 61, and his two companies — Medlink Services Inc. and Medlink Partners LLC — were charged with 27 felony counts of theft allegedly occurring over seven years, starting in 2012.
