High Court Suspends Attorney for Nine Months

The District of Columbia Court of Appeals suspended for nine months an attorney with a long disciplinary history. Nelson Gonzalez is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New Jersey. He has been disciplined five times in New Jersey for misconduct involving multiple clients, including his failure to file a workers’ compensation claim on behalf of a client, which resulted in the denial of the claim.
