Two Mechanics Crushed within Miles of Each Other, OSHA Proposes Penalties

Two Idaho Falls mechanics were crushed by vehicles within miles of one another this past January, prompting inspections from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and proposed fines of over $25,000 for two separate companies, according to an OSHA news release.  On Jan. 12, a mechanic working on the transmission of a truck was killed when the truck fell from its wooden support blocks.
