The National Council on Compensation Insurance has made changes to proposed classifications for construction-site salespeople and estimators after a written comment raised concerns.
The NCCI proposed the revisions to its Basic Manual last year, which would eliminate classifications with low credibility and establish rules for classifying some non-construction workers who work at construction sites. The Texas Department of Insurance published the filing and received one comment, which prompted the NCCI to make revisions, TDI said in a bulletin.
