DWC Says It Won't Brook Unnecessary Delays in Virtual Hearings

Like it or not, virtual hearings are probably here to stay in the Texas workers' compensation system, regulators said Wednesday. As workers' comp courts and agencies in a number of states have done, the Texas Division of Workers' Compensation moved hearings to video and teleconference platforms in March to help minimize human contact during the coronavirus pandemic.
