Committee Unanimously Passes Presumption, Salary Continuation Measures

The Senate Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee unanimously passed measures that would allow California state firefighters to receive salary continuation benefits in lieu of temporary disability and create a presumption that skin cancer is compensable for the state’s park rangers and game wardens.
