Registration Open for Annual Educational Conference

Registration opened Tuesday for the 6th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference, slated for Aug. 18-19 in Las Vegas. Steve George, administrator of the Division of Industrial Relations, will make opening comments, followed by a historical perspective on workers' comp offered by state Sen. Randolph J. Townsend, R-Reno. Presentations are also scheduled on the impact of immigration status on vocational rehabilitation, the aging workforce, understanding addiction, knee injuries and avoiding unnecessary surgeries.
