HVAC Mechanic to Pay $19,739 in Restitution after Caught Working while on Disability

An air-conditioning and heating repairman was ordered to pay $19,739 in restitution after pleading guilty to a workers' compensation fraud charge, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation announced Friday. Patrick Woods, formerly of Chillicothe, Ohio, pleaded guilty to the fifth-degree felony in Ross County Court of Common Pleas on June 5 and was sentenced July 17, the BWC said.
