Guaranty Assn. Working Group Eyes Large-Deductible Policies

A working group of the Florida Workers' Compensation Guaranty Association will discuss during a meeting in Orlando on Wednesday whether more regulation of large-deductible policies is needed.As reported by WorkCompCentral in May, the Florida guaranty association has been left with some $50 million in claims tied to the failure of carriers that specialized in providing large-deductible policies for the staffing industry.
