The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries said it is offering free credit monitoring to employers and employees involved in claims made with the regional office in Tukwila after hard drives were stolen from the office during a recent break-in.
The hard drives contained agency files with personally identifiable information of people who have had business with that specific regional office. The information includes Social Security numbers, email addresses, birth dates, financial or payment account numbers and, in some cases, medical or health insurance information.
