The ex-wife of Tom Noe, convicted of stealing $13.7 million from an Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation investment placed with him, will keep her home after an out-of-court settlement with her ex-husband’s law firm, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
The firm, Thompson Hine LLP, filed a lien on Bernadette Restivo’s home in an attempt to recoup $1.8 million from when they represented Noe in 2005, according to the report.
Restivo and Noe divorced in 2009, three years after Noe’s conviction.
