The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is proposing several changes to its rules on mediation and hearing procedures, and has scheduled a June 16 public hearing to take public comment.
A proposed change to Rule 0800-02-21-.10 would require employers to provide wage statements within seven days after requesting a mediating specialist or within 15 days after a dispute certification notice is filed with the clerk. The current rule requires the wage statement to be submitted within three business days of the first scheduled proceeding.
