The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern California District is claiming victory in what it’s calling the first wave of cases combating workers’ compensation fraud.
At the same time, Michael D. Drobot scored a win last week when a federal judge determined it was too complicated to determine whether he owes restitution to three patients whose doctors he bribed to schedule their spinal fusions at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach.
