Katharine L. Wade was confirmed on Tuesday by the Connecticut state Senate as the new insurance commissioner.
Wade, who was a Cigna executive from 1992-2013, was appointed by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy last month and has over 20 years of experience in her former role of vice president of public policy, governmental affairs and U.S. compliance, according to her LinkedIn page.
