Insurers have joined Wisconsin trial attorneys and worker advocates to oppose an Assembly bill that would blunt labor’s influence on the state Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council.
AB 308 proposes to reduce the number of labor representatives on the council from five to two to better reflect the percentage of Wisconsin workers who belong to unions, said Rep. John Spiros, R-Marshfield.
