Bribery Allegations Taint other Lawmakers for Tangential Roles

The FBI affidavit that implicates California state Sen. Ron Calderon in a bribery scheme also makes potentially damaging allegations about other state lawmakers, some of whose offices moved quickly into damage-control mode on Thursday.According to the affidavit, Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento; Sen.
