Preferred Medical to Launch Webinar Series With Review of CBD

Preferred Medical will debut a new webinar series in May with a look at CBD, or cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive component of cannabis touted as a panacea by some and panned as snake oil by others.

Mark Pew, Preferred’s senior vice president of product development and marketing, will host the inaugural webinar May 8, “Is CBD a game-changer?” Pew has been following medicinal cannabis and its role in workers’ compensation systems for several years.

Preferred said it plans to make recordings of all webinars available for viewing after the events have ended.
