ISIA Conference Topics Include Spine Surgery, Drug Testing

The Iowa Self-Insurers Association will hold its ninth annual meeting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Holiday Inn & Suites in West Des Moines. The day will begin with a presentation on minimally invasive spine surgery, and how to tell the difference between acute and degenerative changes in the spine. Changes to Iowa’s workers’ compensation system will then be discussed, followed by a session on respiratory disease in the workplace.
