A Canadian court fined Priestly Demolition of Aurora, Ontario, $200,000 for a violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that resulted in one fatality and injuries to 17 others in an accident in Toronto.
The court also imposed a 25% victim fine surcharge as required by the Provincial Offences Act for use in assisting victims of crime.
