The federal Veteran's Health Administration did not adequately monitor 61.7% of the workers' compensation claims filed by its employees to ensure that workers receiving disability income benefits were still unable to return to their jobs, according to an audit by the VA's Inspector General.The audit found that 57.4% of the VA's claim files were incomplete, often lacking updated medical reports and earnings and dependency forms, the audit found.
