Union officials are invited to attend the "Train the Trainer Program on Workplace Health and Safety," to be held from Jan. 29 to Feb. 3 in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The program is sponsored by the Labor Safety and Health Training Project and will be held at the National Labor College and the AFL-CIO Department of Occupational Safety and Health.
The program will use a participatory approach to teach the fundamentals of workplace health and safety. Participants will also learn how to teach or facilitate classes for other union members.
