Employers in 15 States Sue AIG for WC Reporting

Employers from 15 states have joined in a class-action suit against American International Group, its subsidiaries and former Chief Executive Officer Maurice Greenberg for an alleged four-decade scheme of underreporting the amount of workers’ compensation premiums it collected.As a result of the misreporting, the complaint alleges, employers were required to pay inflated state insurance assessments.U.S. District Judge Robert W.
