The California Office of Self-Insurance Plans is seeking proposals from actuarial and financial consulting firms to ensure private self-insurers and private self-insured groups are adequately funded to pay their liabilities, and are in compliance with state regulations.
According to the request for proposals, posted to the government’s website July 22 and revised on July 26, the successful firm or firms would be used on an “as needed” basis.
Bid proposals are due by 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
