The Hanover reported net income of $100.4 million during the third quarter, up from $11.1 million for the same period last year.
For the first nine months of 2018, the carrier reported net income of $267.4 million, up from $126.8 million during the first nine months of 2017.
The carrier said net premiums written climbed, to $709.2 million during the quarter, up from $680.2 million in 2017. For the first nine months of the year, net written premiums were $2 billion, up from $1.9 billion in the same period last year.
