Acquisition of Stonetrust Insurance Finalized

The acquisition of Stonetrust Commercial Insurance Co. by Wintaai Holdings Ltd. has been completed, effective Jan. 1. Stonetrust is a Nebraska-domiciled, regional monoline workers’ compensation company with about $70 million in policyholder surplus and roughly $180 million in assets. It is headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The company is licensed in 28 states and operates in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Nebraska.
