A Vista, Calif., city councilman and his wife will have to serve one day of jail time after pleading guilty to failing to pay workers' compensation coverage at their local restaurant, according to a report from the San Diego Union Tribune. The newspaper reported that Councilman Frank Lopez and his wife Mary pleaded guilty to failing to provide workers' compensation coverage on Wednesday.
