Roxanne Pitts, the executive director of Maryland’s Uninsured Employers’ Fund, died Saturday, according to a notice from the state’s Workers’ Compensation Commission. She was 55. Pitts, an attorney, was born Jan. 16, 1960, to the late John W. Pitts and Shirley Carter, according to Legacy.com. No other survivors were listed.
