The owners of a Los Angeles delivery company were ordered to pay $2.25 million in restitution for unpaid workers' compensation premiums, the California Department of Insurance Announced.
John Nemandoust, 70, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, while Annette Assil, 62, was sentenced to 30 days in jail. The pair were also sentenced to 10 years of felony probation, according to the Insurance Department.
