Following its public hearing last Tuesday on a proposed 3.3% statewide decrease in workers’ compensation rates for Florida, the state’s Office of Insurance Regulation is considering the National Council on Compensation Insurance’s filing.
Harvey Bennett, communications director for OIR, estimated Thursday that the office would decide by mid-November on what the final rate filing would be.
“Typically, we do it within 30 days,” Bennett said.
