Court Upholds Constitutionality of Rule Requiring 6th Edition

The Industrial Commission did not violate the law by drafting a rule requiring physicians to use the "most recent edition" of the American Medical Association Guides while determining impairment ratings, an Arizona appellate court concluded. The Arizona Court of Appeals determined that Rule 113(B) means that physicians should use the 6th Edition of the AMA Guides while rating impairment, and that the rule did not violate the law.
