California’s Department of Industrial Relations in March received 1,044 applications from injured workers requesting payment from the $120 million Return to Work Supplement Program created by Senate Bill 863.
More applications were submitted in March than any other month since the program went live in April 2015. The 1,044 applications sent in March amount to a 35% increase over the 773 applications submitted in February. And it brings to 6,271 the total number of applications received the DIR received in the past year.
