Court: Worker's Motion to Amend Consent Letter Should Have Been Denied

A New York appellate court ruled that a worker’s motion to amend the language of a consent letter should have been denied because the proposal allowed her to receive a double recovery of legal fees. Robin Leak filed suit against Paul Mungioli, seeking damages for injuries she allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the Hicksville Union Free School District.
