UR Study, Anti-Fraud Bills Heading to Governor

The California Senate gave final approval to a bill that would give the Division of Workers’ Compensation more time to complete its analysis of exempting some early medical treatments from prospective utilization review on the same day the Assembly concurred in amendments to a measure intended to bolster efforts to fight insurance fraud.
