Administrators of medical networks in California would find it more difficult to squeeze profits out of providers, under a bill passed out of committee last week.
At the same time, the bill that the Senate Committee on Labor, Public Employment and Retirement unanimously passed on Wednesday would eliminate any question about whether the Division of Workers’ Compensation can name the names of the providers generating a disproportionate share of medical disputes.
