OSHA Says Pallet Maker Exposed Workers to Amputation, Fall, Electrical Hazards

A pallet maker in Montgomery has been shredded by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration buzz saw for repeatedly putting its workers at risk of injury, and now faces $50,000 in proposed penalties. The repeat violation for Southeast Pallet & Box Co. was for leaving openings in electrical cabinets and exposing workers to electrical hazards. It had been cited for the same hazard in November 2013, according to OSHA.
