The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is taking applications for $3.5 million in grant money that can be used to establish or develop safety training programs.
The money, which is provided through the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, is intended to target small businesses, high-risk industries, underserved worker populations, employees with limited English proficiency and temporary staff, according to a Thursday press release.
