Bill Extending Comp to Domestic Workers Moves Closer to Floor Vote in House

The Virginia House of Delegates is one step away from approving a bill that would require that more housekeepers and other domestic service employees be covered by workers' compensation insurance. The House on Monday agreed to adopt minor amendments to HB 2032 and gave the bill a second reading. A floor vote was possible Tuesday night, a legislative aide said.
