Administrators Hopeful about Cuomo's Plan for GSIA Liabilities

Claims administrators who had front-row seats to the collapse of New York's group self-insured trust system say they are optimistic that Gov. Andrew Cuomo's plan to cover the unfunded liabilities of 23 now-insolvent trusts will be bringing an unhappy chapter for many companies to a close.About 10,000 employers were left holding the bag for nearly $1 billion in claims after the trusts went under.
