The Idaho Industrial Commission posted a list of administrative rules adopted in 2014 that must be approved by the Legislature before becoming permanent.
One rule pending legislative approval would exempt employers at the Idaho National Laboratory working under a cost-reimbursement contract with the federal government from the requirement to have excess coverage to qualify as a self-insured employer. Such businesses would also be exempted from the requirement to post a security deposit.
