A divided Alabama Court of Civil Appeals upheld an award of benefits to a worker for his injuries after he passed out from a coughing fit and crashed the vehicle he was driving on private property in the course of his employment. Darrell Taylor worked for MMR Constructors Inc. He was diagnosed with bronchitis in March 2024 but was cleared to continue working.
