Half of Top 10 Employer Fraud Cases in 2011 from Golden State

An Ohio man who printed fake insurance certificates and paid claims to embezzle workers' compensation payments from his employer and insurance companies who settled charges of underreporting premiums were listed among an applicant attorneys' group listing of Top 10 cases of employer and carrier fraud for 2011, but California employers dominated the list, accounting for half of the cited cases.The list was published by the Workers' injury Law and Advocacy Group and redistributed by the California Applicants' Attorneys Association on Jan. 17.
