Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts has appointed attorney Dirk V. Block to the state Workers’ Compensation Court.
Block, 55, is managing member of the Marks, Clare and Richards law firm in Omaha. He joined the firm in 1988, became a member in 1992 and managing member in 2000, according to the firm's website.
The 10 attorneys for the firm represent claimants before the Workers' Compensation Court and also practice real estate, employment, family, tax planning, medical malpractice, criminal defense and business law.
