MarketScout, a Dallas-based insurance exchange and managing general agent, has formed an insurance technology venture fund.
The fund has an initial $25 million for 10 to 12 investments in insurance technology companies, MarketScout founder and chief executive officer Richard Kerr said in a news release. The focus will be on technology-enabled insurance distribution.
The initial funding comes exclusively from MarketScout Corp.
