OSHA to Hold Informal Stakeholders Meeting on Hazards in Tree Care Industry

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will hold an informal stakeholder meeting on hazards in the tree care industry on July 13 in Washington, D.C., the agency announced in a press release. Hazards that could befall workers while trimming and removing trees include falling from aerial equipment, getting hit by falling trees, chain saw and chipper wounds, and making contact with energized power lines, OSHA said.
