Recent growth in the workers’ compensation residual market pools does not appear to be a cause for concern in the insurance industry.
Robert Hartwig, president of the Insurance Information Institute, said the increases are of some concern, but are not sufficient to cause a great deal of alarm in the industry.
"There has been some increase in the past two years but that is from historically low levels,” Hartwig said.
