The California Division of Workers’ Compensation has posted an order adjusting the pathology and clinical laboratory section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule, or OMFS.
The update is in response to changes in the Medicare payment system for the fourth quarter of this year.
The order adopting the updated OMFS pathology and clinical laboratory fee schedule is effective for services rendered on or after Oct. 1. The order may be found here.
